Windshield Replacement Calibration

You may be wondering why a car needs to be re-calibrated at all. Or better yet, why a windshield replacement causes issues. Your ADAS camera is installed next to the rear view mirror bracket. During your windshield replacement, these items are disconnected in order to remove you cracked windshield and install a new one. When the new windshield is installed in your vehicle, these cameras lose the pre-set angles. For this reason re-calibration is essential after a windshield replacement.
