Auto Glass Express warrants the installation of new automotive glass to be free from defects in material and workmanship upon delivery, subject to the Limited Warranty. Any problems caused by installation error, such as wind and water, leaks, loose moldings and some types of stress cracks, will, at the option of Auto Glass Express, be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. This Limited Warranty is valid for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must present this invoice as proof of repair or replacement to Auto Glass Express. THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER leakage or stress cracks caused by pre-existing rust, structural damage, or other damage caused by vandalism or impact with foreign objects. If with such repair, Auto Glass Express has made chip repairs to your automobile glass and you are not satisfied with such repair, Auto Glass Express Inc. will credit cost of the chip repair toward replacement of the glass by Auto Glass Express. In the event you request a repair of a rock chip or other damage caused by impact with foreign objects or vandalism, you agree that Auto Glass Express shall not be responsible for breakage that occurs in attempting such repairs.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF YOUR WINDSHIELD AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. This exclusive remedy will not be deemed to have failed of its essential purpose so long as Auto Glass Express is willing and able to repair or replace the automotive glass installed. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE. Auto Glass Express makes no other warranties of any kind and any repair to attempt to the automotive glass installed by anyone other Auto Glass Express automatically voids this Limited Warranty. Any oral or written statement concerning the automotive glass installed inconsistent with this Limited Warranty shall be of no force or effect.
All warranty claims are first to be inspected and confirmed by Auto Glass Express at one of our inshop locations (Noted on invoice). Vehicles taken to an outside vendor prior to store inspection will result as voidance of warranty. Auto Glass Express Inc will not be financially responsible for any repairs prior to management authorization.
Warranty for Windshield Rock Chip Repair
Windshield chip repairs are structural, not cosmetic, and aim to restore the windshield’s integrity. While we take every precaution, there is a slight risk the windshield may crack during the repair process. Auto Glass Express is not responsible for cracking that occurs during the repair.
We offer a limited lifetime warranty for repairs that crack after completion. If this happens, you can choose one of the following options:
- Receive a full refund for the repair cost.
- Apply the repair cost as credit toward a windshield replacement.
Please note that Auto Glass Express will not replace the windshield free of charge if the chip spreads after the repair.
